And empty courts.
2 days of atmospheric turbulence and soaking rain set the scene for Game
1 being cancelled and all the work leading up to putting our teams on court
became an anticlimax. Until Game 2.
This game creates resilience and toughness, flexibility and character, so
today we rest and enjoy the sun; tomorrow we prepare for the next game,
and the next!
2024 looks very sunny for Comets. We have 8 senior teams, all full and
looking great. We registered some 35 new players and 2 new teams were
formed.
One cloud on our horizon, almost all teams play at the same time, tough to
allocate umpires. We do have lots of great and wonderful umpires; any
clubs with similar problems (with great and wonderful umpires!) might like
to chat with our officials re sharing allocations. This email will take you
